Artist and Writer Guidelines

Art submissions

it takes two, inc. is interested in receiving art submissions that offer a fresh, unique design perspective and enhance our already published product line. Following are general guidelines for submitting artwork:

Please review our current product line to determine style compatibility.

We prefer that you e-mail your URL or 3 to 6 jpeg files of your artwork to krr@ittakestwo.com. The subject line should state "New Art Submission."

If you are unable to send submissions representative of your art via e-mail, you may mail up to 6 samples of your work on paper no larger than 8.5 x 11. Color copies are preferred. No original artwork, please!

Include your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and date on each piece.

Submissions will not be returned, so please do not send original or valuable material.

Verse submissions

Our verse writing is done almost exclusively here at it takes two but we sometimes have a need for a particular or different style of writing. An example of this may be verses for greeting cards that are humorous or clever but never cutting or off color. We will be happy to consider your ideas for verse if you feel you have something fresh to offer that would be a unique addition to the style of writing we already publish. Please submit 6 to 12 verse ideas at a time and email to krr@ittakestwo.com. The subject line should state "New Verse Submission."

Our creative committee receives many submissions, which we try to respond to promptly. We sincerely appreciate your interest in submitting art or verse and ask for your patience as we consider new styles to add to our existing lines. We will do our best to contact you with our input in a timely manner.
